Brian Delaney, Owner
Brian brings a unique perspective to the Nurse Registry field. As a primary caregiver for his father for over seven years, he understands the physical and emotional challenges that come along with caring for a loved one. The overall philosophy that guides this Visiting Angels office rests on the belief that a caregiver who is supported and respected will always deliver the best service possible. Consistent with this philosophy, we strive to find the most qualifies and empathetic caregivers and to match them with clients whose preferences and requests best match their unique qualities and professional credentials. 

​Visiting Angels of Tallahassee has a reputation for attracting the most experienced and capable independent caregivers in the Tallahassee area. "They are truly the unsung heroes of the entire healthcare industry" says Delaney. "It is their devotion and dedication to care recipients that can make the difference in the lives of families who are caring for a loved one. The caregivers on our Registry are part of our family and we prove that every day with simple kindness and respect."

Kelli Spears, Director of Operations
Kelli hails from Wakulla, Florida and studied Health and Physical Education at the University of West Georgia. She is responsible for facilitating communication among clients, their families, and their caregivers. Kelli has been working with seniors and their loved ones for ten years. She has worked at two local Assisted Living Facilities here in Tallahassee as the Event and Activities Coordinator. In her experience at these facilities, Kelli has learned how to deal with the unique caregiver referral needs of seniors and their families.

Mandie Yates, Director of Client Relations
​Mandie Yates serves as the Director of Client Relations within Visiting Angels of Tallahassee and has been with the company since 2018. With a background in insurance and recruiting, she excels in assisting clients and caregivers alike by processing client requests, while finding the best caregivers in the Tallahassee area. Mandie is a Tallahassee native who spends as much time as she can enjoying the warm Tallahassee sun, tending to her expansive garden, spending time with her family, and camping at state parks. Her long-standing history to the Tallahassee area strengthens her commitment to serving our clients and caregivers to ensure all have a positive experience with Visiting Angels.

Rachel Woofter, Referral Manager
Rachel is from Crawfordville, Florida. Rachel obtained her CNA license while in high school through the Wakulla High Medical Academy, and joined the Visiting Angels team in 2015 as a caregiver. After 3 years of working with local families as a caregiver, she was promoted to Referral Manager. Her unique ability to understand the needs of clients and families, and match them with the strengths of caregivers, creates an opportunity for each family to experience tailored caregiving that meets individual needs. Rachel embraces the Visiting Angels philosophy by providing the best service possible to every client.

Kim Tedesco, Chief Compliance Officer
In 2014, Kim obtained a BS in Business Administration and Management from Florida State University, and completed a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in the fall of 2019. She enjoys being able to apply lessons she's learned throughout her education to her work at Visiting Angels of Tallahassee, such as the importance of collaboration, open communication, and tending to and satisfying the needs of others. In her capacity as the Compliance Officer, she greatly appreciates the many opportunities she has to connect with caregivers and clients to provide excellent and personalized customer service. ​

Melissa Bass, Administrative Manager
Melissa was raised in Madison, Florida and moved to Tallahassee in 2017. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. Prior to coming to Visiting Angels, Melissa worked in the insurance industry with Farm Bureau for ten years. Melissa is eager to apply her vast background in customer service and engagement in her role as the Administrative Manager. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her three dogs (Maggie, Brantley, and Levi), and spending time with her family.
